JK Autos

Description

JK Autos sits at Church View in The Heath, just outside Portlaoise and two minutes off the M7. It is a SIMI-approved garage and main dealer for Isuzu, Maxus and SsangYong, with agency for Indespension trailers and the major ATV brands, chiefly Honda and Suzuki. Alongside the franchises it sells used cars — every one inspected and sold with a warranty, with cars sourced to order and trade-ins accepted — and runs a full workshop where repairs are carried out to main dealer standards. Two services are worth singling out: NCT pre-tests, which catch the faults that would otherwise fail the national test, and a 24-hour tow truck service, so a stranded car can be brought in at any hour rather than left to a third party. The business operates from two sites, the second on Kildare Road in Athy, both with fully equipped workshops, and is an affiliated member of the AA. Open Monday to Thursday 9:00–17:30, Friday to 17:00 and Saturday 9:30–13:00.
