Midlands Auto Repair Centre Ltd

Description

Midlands Auto Repair Centre in Clonminam Business Park, Portlaoise, works at dealer level on diagnostics while charging independent prices. The equipment allows repair and programming of ABS units, airbag modules, ECUs and other electronic control units — work most independent garages send away, and a genuine reason to travel here. Diesel work is a second strand: diagnosis and repair of injectors and pumps, diesel particulate filter problems, and engine rebuilds. Beyond that it covers full servicing, engine, gearbox and suspension repair, chip tuning, tyres with fitting and balancing, and key cutting and programming. Prices are published openly — servicing from €49 and tyres from €25 including fitting and balancing — which is unusual in the trade and lets a driver compare before booking. The workshop is a member of ESDA, the Irish association for automotive electronics and diagnostic specialists.
