Enniscorthy Motor Company was founded in 1919 and is one of the longest established motor dealers in Ireland, operating from the Old Dublin Road in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford. It is a leading retailer of used cars in the South East and holds franchises that have changed over the years: the company was appointed main Audi dealer for Wexford in 2012, is an approved SEAT dealer, and now trades as BYD Wexford, part of the Bolands BYD network that runs five outlets. The BYD appointment matters for anyone shopping electric — the brand is among the largest EV makers in the world and its Irish network is still small, so a local dealer is not a given. Aftersales covers service, parts and accessories in the company's own workshop, which handles all makes and not only the franchised brands. Used stock comes with a twelve-month dealer warranty, and finance and trade-ins are arranged in house. Scrappage allowances of around two thousand euro are applied against listed prices.
